I went to see the Muses, who are silly with the beasts, and asked if I could borrow one for the afternoon. Melpomene said, “Take mine, I don’t have much use for it anyway.”
That was lucky break as Melpomene’s pegasus was the smallest of the herd.
I thought it’d be easy, the muses ride them all the time. But the brute got the better of me, it was a total disaster.
I should’ve known better. What business does Gentleness have overpowering anything, anyway?
